About Me

I'm just a no-nonsense gal who grew up in a small West Virginia steel town. I am passionate about performing and being part of the storytelling process.

Gratefully, I’ve had the opportunity to sing and play music in various Top 40 and country bands in the Ohio Valley. I've been thrilled to work on TV shows (House, Mystery ER), soap operas (General Hospital, Passions), commercials (Detrol LA, AT&T, Mars Candy), films (Unplanned, The Umbrella Man) and print ads (Nokia, Pristiq, Wells Fargo, Philips). Of course, live theater is always a blast, playing challenging and offbeat roles such as Sister Robert Anne (Nunsense II), Mother Superior (Agnes of God) and Lola Barbosa (Farce of Nature). I have written and co-written several screenplays, several of which I have directed and produced. One of those films, The Little Samaritan, was an Official Selection at the International Christian Film Festival, Wales, England, and won Best Film in the Community/Social Action Category (2009). I'm slowly working on a romantic comedy screenplay.

After retiring from three-plus decades in nursing, I enjoy traveling, learning foreign languages and gardening.
